Welcome to the first video newsletter edition of Leapfrog Scientist!

We’re back! After a summer break and back-to-back conferences in September and October, we’re excited to reconnect and bring you some fantastic updates. During our time away, we’ve been busy soaking up long summer days, attending scientific events, and working hard to create informative content.

Today, we are beyond excited to introduce something new: video interviews! We’re stepping into a new era of how we engage with the Leapfrog Scientist community. Moving forward, we’re complementing our newsletters with dynamic video content that will bring expert voices and scientific insights directly to you in a more engaging and interactive way.

Our first video interview features David Kane, an accomplished aerosol scientist and founder of Rocket Science Consulting. I first met David many years ago while working at Altria, and since then, his career has taken him to JUUL Labs and ultimately to starting his own consulting firm.

David holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from Virginia Commonwealth University, as well as both a Master of Science (M.S.) in Physics from VCU and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics from the University of Richmond. In this video, David shares his inspiring career journey, from his early academic roots to his transition into the industry, and eventually, to founding Rocket Science Consulting. He also dives into aerosol science research and provides invaluable advice for aspiring scientists and innovators looking to make their mark in the field.
